Deniz Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Turkish Naval Forces are responsible for protecting Turkey against any attacks that may come from the sea. It is the 2nd largest force under the command of the Turkish Armed Forces. Its founding date is 1081, which is the founding date of the navy created in Izmir by Çaka Bey, who is considered the first Turkish sailor. With the Decree Law on the State of Emergency, amended and adopted on 9 November 2016, the Command, which was under the establishment and staff of the General Staff until this date, was transferred to the staff and establishment of the Ministry of National Defense.
