Description
Founded: 2022 The New Kempton Provincial Police (NKPP) patrols all provincial highways and waterways while providing policing to rural areas without local forces. The service investigates major and cross-jurisdictional crimes, offers municipal policing under contract, and provides air support to local services. The NKPP also supports First Nations and Municipal policing programs, protects visiting officials, and secures government building across the province. The NKPP is a division of the Ministry of the Solicitor General, the largest operational ministry in the province with a presence in every community across New Kempton.
