AETC's mission is to "develop America's Airmen today... for tomorrow." The command recruits, trains, and educates Airmen for the United States Air Force. To become a Officer you must pass a Officer Candidate School(OCS). In order to become an instructor, you must pass Military Training Instructor School (MTIS). You must be an E4 or higher to join this group. You must also pass the standard evaluation test. Phase II is a training for both MTIS and OCS candidates, it focuses on obstical courses, combat, and parachuting training. JTI = Junior Training Instructor, it is the third phase of MTIS, JTIs may assist a BMT, and they are then required to host one training while being watched by an HMTI, or the CO/XO.
