71st Star Legion "Star Corps" ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Alternatively known as the 71st Star Legion, the Star Corps were unites of infantry formed in the later 2200's. These units were made for expeditionary use, forming beachheads and bulwarks on uncharted planets, surviving in hostile areas until reinforcements arrived, and being fast reaction units to respond to threats quickly while other nearby army units mobilized. The Star Corps are also unoficially known as Marines, as they are on board, and attached to Naval Flotillas. Each fleet has a corps of Star Legion marines on board, and are ferrying them wherever they need to go. 71st is most famous for their pacification of Ke stus Prime in the founder days of old, during the expansion wars hundreds of years ago. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
