Description
Centuries ago, there were two worlds connected, separated by only a thin veil. Earth’s side was the world of humans, filled with technological prowess and logical thinking. On the other side of the veil was a fantastical place, with creatures talked about only in legends and myths. For many years, both sides of the veil lived in peace, with creatures able to come and go as they pleased through the borderlands, a place known as the Carnival. However, after a time of unrest, of hatred burned between the worlds, they devolved into a terrible war. The war raged across both worlds, and without any signs of stopping, the most powerful beings from both sides sacrificed themselves to close the veil for good. It worked, the worlds eventually forgetting each other’s existence, but the Carnival was left in the middle. Cut off from both worlds, the Carnival plunged into an endless twilight, chilling the air, and raising the tides in a devastating flood… waiting for someone to remember.
