Description

The 1st Special Forces Battalion "Hunter Killer" is an elite unit under the Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) of the Philippine Army. Known for its aggressive and highly specialized counterinsurgency operations, the battalion earned the moniker "Hunter Killer" due to its effectiveness in tracking and neutralizing high-value enemy targets, particularly during operations against communist insurgents and terrorist groups. Operating under the motto “Courage and Determination,” the unit specializes in unconventional warfare, direct action, counter-terrorism, and deep reconnaissance. Members undergo rigorous training in airborne operations, jungle warfare, and special operations tactics, making them among the most capable combat troops in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Growth

2 measurements spanning 41 days, net -1. Dots are measurements; the straight line between them is drawn to join them, not to claim we know the path taken in between — snapshots are recorded only when a count changes, so gaps mean “no change observed”, never “interpolated”. The vertical axis spans 16–17 and does not start at zero.
