Serrano Port Authority Police Department #114466806
Description
The Port Authority of Mayflower & Serrano Police Department was unofficially established in June of 1928 after a group of 10 watchmen were selected by the Port Authority of Mayflower & Serrano to police the Lander City Port; now known as the Lander City Marine Terminal after a series of cargo thefts. It was officially established in July of 1930 as a result of success by the watchmen in years prior, and the Port Authority of Mayflower & Serrano Police Department was given police powers in both states. Being a business with the properties of an interstate agency, the Port Authority of Mayflower & Serrano enjoys the ability to form its own public services, including a police department. Today, the Port Authority of Mayflower & Serrano Police Department acts as the interstate-level port and transportation law enforcement agency of the Port Authority of Mayflower & Serrano.
