Description
The United Earth Alliance replaced the old United Nations after the Eight Hours War in 2204 (54 ADH), at the end of the corporate era. The Alliance was created to succeed where the UN was deemed to have failed, and has been the dominant political force in the Diaspora Humanarum ever since its foundation. The Allied Seal is one of the most famous designs in history, incorporating the old UN seal. The phoenix symbolises the Alliance's birth from the ashes of the Eight Hours War, which saw the destruction of the old UN headquarters building in an event that shattered every window in New York City. The sword represents the strength and protection provided by the Alliance Charter, which created the United Earth Armed Forces as a unified peacekeeping force operating alongside, and eventually superceding, the armed forces of most of the Alliance members.
