𝗥𝗢𝗬𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗣𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗭𝗢𝗪 The Royal Prussian Free Corps of Lützow was a Prussian unit formed in February 1813, containing volunteers from all over Germany, ready to put their lives on the line for the liberation of Germany. They got their name from their commander, Major von Lützow. The Free Corps was a very diverse and unique unit, containing cavalrymen, musketiers, and even marksmen from Tyrol. They were outfitted in their dignified black, red, and gold, which later were the same colours used by the Federal Republic.
