Description
The United Nations Space Command, more commonly known as the UNSC, is the military, exploratory, and scientific agency of the Unified Earth Government.🌐 "Per Mare, Per Terras, Per Constellatum."⚓ The 23rd Naval Air Squadron consists of a squadron of Pilots in the UNSC's Navy and Marines, namely Echo 419 or "Foehammer." Several members of this unit, if not the entire unit, was aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn in 2552. Members of this squadron were adept at piloting several types of air vehicles, including D77-TC Pelicans, GA-TL1 Longsword-class Interceptors, and even Spirits. The S/VRC-8 is the UNSC's Marine Corps' Aerial Unit. S/VRC-8 fought during the Battle of Earth at Voi. Later, they were assigned to the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn during the Battle of Installation 00 where they ferried in Marines, ammunition, and supplies during operations at the Ark complex and the Citadel. They also gave close air support for forces as well using their rocket pods.
