Description

The G9 Family and Allies is a large street gang in Haiti which was founded by former policeman Jimmy Cherizier in 2018. The G9 was founded after the merger of nine gangs, and the gang was responsible for a series of attacks on Port-au-Prince neighborhoods known to attack Jovenel Moise's government, including Fortimash, Chancerell, Tokyo, and Bel Air. The gang was rivals with Ti Gabriel's gang, and Cherizier was injured in a gunfight in May 2021.

Growth history is still building. We hold one measurement for this entry. A trend needs at least two, taken days apart — so this will fill in on its own rather than being estimated. We do not publish numbers we have not measured.
