𝐔.𝐒. 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘪𝘳 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘴 The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the "Thunderbirds," is the airshow flying unit of the U.S. Air Force. They fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon and are part of the Air Combat Command. Although this squadron is responsible for the airshow duties of the air force, its aircraft can easily be equipped with weapons and be deployed to the fight should the need arise.
