𝟏 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐔𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐒, 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆'𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐍 The King’s German Legion were a Legion of the British Army mostly composed of Germans hailing from various independent German states and electorates within the now defunct Holy Roman Empire. Historically many soldiers and officers of the legion were Hanoverian, which was conquered by the French circa 1803. Hussars are a Light Cavalry force made of mostly young, ambitious recruits. They can be useful as a screening force, a scouting force, a shock force, or for chasing down disorganized units on the battlefield. All new recruits into our elite unit are expected to be active, and have a working knowledge of the British Army Drill Manual, and Regimental drill and customs.
