Description
After the Declaration of a New Order was made and the Galactic Empire formed, the Red Guard became the Emperor's Royal Guard who stood to safeguard the Emperor. They remained as silent warriors that stood as elite protectors for the Emperor during his visits to other worlds or during his meetings in the Imperial Palace on Coruscant.
