Description

Lietuvos Karalystė Kingdom of Lithuania 1936-1945 King: a_rmyforlyfe Information: Granted independence in 1918 as a German client state with a German King, Lithuania is known for having one of the most liberal constitutions in the German sphere. It garuntees Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion, and Assembly. It's first King, Mindaugas II was known fondly as the 'Peoples' King'. When he died in 1928, his son became King Vytautas II. Since then, the Monarchy has slowly lost support. The Kingdom has a sizable minority of Poles, Byelorussians, and Hebrew peoples. The minorities' cultures have been left untouched in light of the Constitution. Lithuania has a sizable Armed Forces for the nation's size. As Syndicalism spreads across Europe in 1936, it is becoming increasingly clear a Second World War will happen within the next decade. The small Kingdom is now in a crossroads due to the increasingly alarming European situation.
