Description

𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐘𝐄𝐍 House Targaryen ruled the Seven Kingdoms from the Iron Throne and stood at the center of the conflict that became known as the First Blackfyre Rebellion. Under King Daeron II, the crown sought peace, diplomacy, and unity, particularly through alliance with Dorne and House Martell. Yet many lords viewed Daeron as weak or overly influenced by Dornish customs, allowing Daemon Blackfyre to gather support among discontented nobles. Despite these tensions, loyal princes such as Baelor Breakspear and Maekar Targaryen led the royal armies with distinction during the war. At the Battle of the Redgrass Field, the red dragon prevailed, preserving the Targaryen hold upon Westeros for another generation. Even in victory, however, the rebellion planted seeds of distrust and bitterness that would haunt the dynasty for decades to come.
