Description
French Light Infantry 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 Light infantry - fighting independent, fast moving, and the counterparts to line infantry, these men typically fight in open order. Unrestricted by line formations, they are experts at skirmishing and ranged combat, but lack in melee and against cavalry. The Tirailleurs Corses Battalion was raised in 1802. Napoleon wished for the unit to be exclusively recruited from native Corsicans.
