Minor Family Branch of Maeda ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ◦ ❖ ◦ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Wakita Kyūbei , a samurai of the Kaga Domain, dictated a memoir of his life and accomplishments. His was a unique story; born the son of a Korean ruling class family (yangban), hewas kidnapped as a boy and raised in the house of warlord Maeda Toshiie in Japan. Without family or connections, Wakita eventually rose within the ranks of the Maeda house to end his career as town magistrate of the Kaga Domain capital.
