Description

Where there is money, there is desperation. Where there is desperation, there is crime. The Clear Creak County Cowboys arose in 1870 following the boom in Georgetown, Colorado. The Cowboys (also known as the CCCC, 4C and C4) comprises of many gangs and ne'er-do-wells unified by one thing: Money, and the will to obtain it any way possible. The term cowboy had only begun to come into wider usage during the 1870s, and in the place and time, Cowboy was synonymous with rustler. Cattle thieves frequently rode across the international border into Mexico and stole cattle from Mexican ranches, which they drove back across the border and sold in the United States.
