𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 - 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐲 "Waul's Legion" The Texas Legion of Calvary, also known as the Texas Legion or the Texas Volunteers, was first authorized on January of 1836, and joined the Texian Army in February 1836, was a key Cavalry unit during the Texas Revolution. It was reformed for the Confederate Army in August, 1861 and then Disbanded once more in April 1865. Regiment Cap: 15
