Land of Hope and Glory “The Sun Never Sets.” Land of Hope and Glory is a historical roleplay and combat group centred upon the armed forces of Great Britain throughout the 19th century, during the height of its imperial expansion and global dominance. From the early decades of the 1800s to the closing years of the Victorian era, the group portrays the soldiers, campaigns, and conflicts that defined Britain’s presence across the world. Built upon a sliding timeline, the group moves between key moments of the century—adapting uniforms, weapons, tactics, and command structures to reflect the period being represented. Whether fighting in the age of red-coated line infantry or the later era of khaki-clad colonial warfare, each event captures a different phase in the evolution of British military power.
