For years, humanity has been living their lives, carefree and ignorant to the true horrors that lay just below the surface, the horrors we have strived to make sure never surface to ruin this normalcy. The Foundation has continuously maintained what is known as the "Veil", along with Groups of Interests after the same interests, although their methods certainly... differ from each other. Over time, the Foundation has begun to build more and more facilities to accommodate the anomalies discovered in the field. However, what a majority of Foundation employees don't know is that the increased budget towards these facilities serve an underlying purpose; an ark for mankind in the inevitable face of an XK Class End of the World Scenario. Your past life ends here, and you begin your new life once you enter the world of the anomalous.
