The National Phillippine Army (NPA) is responsible for upholding the sovereignty of the country, supporting its Constitution, and defending its territory against all enemies. It is composed of the Philippine Army, the Philippine Navy, and the Philippine Air Force. On August 11, 2021, the National Assembly enacted the National Defense Act.
