Description
The Correctional Service of Canada is responsible of the routine operations within the Carleton Correctional Facility and its nearby regions, tasked with securing the facility, taking care of prisoners and conducting community service. They are considered county certified correctional officers and are permitted to conduct arrest on criminals. Members of the RCMP, OPS and CAF MP are also allowed to undergo correctional courses to obtain the Correctional Certificate and carry out community services and transport duties.
