-- Status: Defunct -- Correction Nine is a group of privateers, militias, mercenaries, escaped prisoners and locals that have formed their own armed bands and cells in the far and remote regions of the outer Cosmos of the known Universe, despite being largely dispersed they maintain significant defensive positions that are hard to crack due to a lack of logistics in the area for invading armies and marauding gangs that occasionally roam the Universe. While Correction Nine does not have any contiguous borders or leadership they still maintain pockets of territories and planets that are far away from the influence of greater empires where they have established their own presence instead. Correction Nine aims for peace and prosperity for the outer parts of the Cosmos and the locals there that have been exploited and abused for millenniums by the richer, bigger and more powerful states that inhabit the more densely populated and resource rich parts of the universe.
