Description
The Kingdom of Boulavis is an independent state off the coast of France. It is a large island with large areas of thick woodlands and open countryside landscapes. All troops within its armies are trained in either rifles or mounted combat, as well as typical muskets. Initially a French province, Boulavis was captured and colonised by the British in 1576. In the mid 17th century the citizens of Boulavis began to revolt against the British, clamouring for independence. It was not until 1684 that Boulavis gained partial independence, becoming a vassal state of the British Empire as a duchy with British troops remaining to prevent French reoccupation. In 1793 the British withdrew their troops from Boulavis, in order to focus their forces on the siege of Toulon. At this time the duke of Boulavis negotiated independence from the British, so long as they swore themselves as allies to them. Following this, the duke crowned himself king and formed his army, ready for war.
