The Republic of Chapung #12012252
RoleplayENfictional nationpolitical simulationmilitary dictatorship
Description
The Republic of Chapung was founded in 1966 after a military coup by General Xao Long against the Kingdom of Chapung. Xao Long ruled with an iron fist, and sustained his lavish lifestyle off of taxes, abusing foreign aid money, and exporting gold and iron from the nation’s mountainous environment. In 1967, Xao Pang was born, and in 1985, Xao Long died from undiagnosed cancer, leaving Xao Pang to take power. Xao Pang is arguably worse than his father, as he allowed power tripping Soldiers to attack citizens and their property, and also ordering the military to crack down on any opposition by any means necessary, leading to the deaths of many citizens. Xao Pang still reigns over Chapung to this day. The Nation’s culture is a mixture of Mongolian and Chinese. The nation is the size of Rhode Island, bordered by Russia, China, and Mongolia Government: Authoritarian Military Dictatorship Leader: General Colonel Xao Pang (Suspiglol2) Capital: Chapung City
