Description
House Ravenpoint of Northcrest is a Great House of Arenir and rules the region known as the North. The constant cold and the harsh and unforgiving winters sets the North apart from the southern regions, and the terrain and climate do not easily yield the necessities of daily life. As such, it may come to no surprise that the North is more sparsely populated than the other regions, although more populous as a whole than both the Aranae Woodlands and the Borean Isles. These conditions, as well as an often hostile neighbor in the the West, have created a stalwart and sturdy people. Unlike the south, the Northmen place little emphasis on courtly intrigues and ritual, preferring instead to focus on survival, brawling, hunting and in the case of the few with the means to be so inclined, scholarly endeavors.
