Description
A land of the Ñoldor-elves in the west of Middle-earth during the Second Age, famed for its smithwork and the friendship of its people with the Dwarves of nearby Khazad-dûm. The Elves of Eregion came under the influence of Sauron and unwittingly aided him in the making of the Rings of Power. The Kingdom of Eregion was led by Celebrimbor, the last of the House of Fëanor, known as the Greatest Smith of the Second Age and creater of the Rings of Power. After his death, the land was left and abandoned. Recently, Elves have began reconstructing this former realm and it has since then been steadily growing.
