Description
Trichotillomania is an impulse control disorder, in which a person feels compelled to rip their hair out. This can be hair on the head and other places such as eyelashes or eyebrows. Trichotillomania can lead to guilt and embarrassment. Trich can cause a person to feel unattractive and can lead to low self-esteem.
