■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬 The Consular Guards, formed in the late 18th century under the French Consulate, were an elite paramilitary unit entrusted with safeguarding the post-Revolutionary Consuls. Handpicked for their outstanding skills and unwavering loyalty, they executed directives while ensuring the Consuls' safety. Selected from France's top military talents, these soldiers were revered for their intelligence, strategic brilliance, and steadfast dedication to the Republic's ideals. Much like Rome's Praetorian Guard, they wielded substantial authority, including legal immunity, enabling rapid identification and neutralization of threats to the Republic. Amidst political turbulence, they stood as courageous defenders, epitomizing duty, courage, and patriotism, safeguarding the fledgling French Republic. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■
