The group's ostensible purpose was to prevent Italian Americans as a group from being defamed, primarily by being uniformly stereotyped as all being involved with or related to persons or activities associated with 𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙚.
