Description
The Order of the Shadowscales, the finest knights of the Horde, were formed after the purge of Straaiithalm, where a large city was razed by a group of mercenaries serving the Prince of Taersai. After the Purge, the Order was created by the first death knights, elite undead soldiers of the Horde specialized in assassination and combat in service to the Khaasai, resurrected by powerful magic and biotics. The first major conflict involving the Shadowscales, was in the First War, in which the order was called to the Plaguelands to specifically combat the paladins of Taersai. As the Shadowscales numbers were infinite, by placing the souls of their fallen into the bodies of the slain Paladins, the Shadowscales were ultimately victorious, and paved the way to the conquest of Taersai.
