𝐂𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲 The Corps of Artillery, was formed by Iturbide to supply Mexico with well trained artillerists to support the infantry. The corps were equipped with captured Spanish copies of Napoleon's Gribeauval cannon. These artillerists proved to be one of the Mexican army's most important components.
