ALTERNATIVE HISTORY After the events of the Singing Revolution, Estonia declared sovereignty in 1988, then full independence in 1991. However, Estonia was under the influence of a collective of reformist Socialist parties, which were primarily Democratic Socialist and Social Democratic. A referendum and government elections was held shortly after independence about whether or not the collective should should take power of the country, or the right-wing Popular Front and other movements. 94% voted in favor of the former, and the new President, Prime Minister, and other officials were voted into office. Estonia was then renamed to a People's Republic, and was now officially a Democratic Socialist country. The year is now 1995, and the world is quickly changing and burning once again with many post-Soviet conflicts. To be continued.
