Theatre Organ Society of Australia The Theatre Organ Society of Australia is a non-profit, Australian organization that saves, restores, and plays theatre organs all over Australia. At the end of the silent movie era, theatre organs started to become more rare and uncommon as organs of this sort were not needed to accompany films anymore. A group of people decided that they would make an organization to try to save the historic instruments, thus the Theatre Organ Society of Australia was born.
