Description
1370-1408 The Emirate of Granada was a musIim state of the Iberian Peninsula that was formed in 1238 as a result of the loss of the Almohad CaIiphate in the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa. It was the last musIim state on the Iberian Peninsula and had great commercial importance since they controlled the Strait of Gibraltar. The Emirate of Granada is ruled by Muhammed VII of Granada, the seventh of his name, thirteenth Emir of the House Nazari of Granada and one of the last best Emirs of Granada.
