Description
Ever since the second disaster's occurrence at the CNPP on June 10th, 2006, the Russian government has kept it's eyes on Ukraine and Belarus in an attempt to discover what happened at the CNPP. After years of surveillance, in 2010, the Russian government gathered enough information to mount a task force with the goal of conducting further studies and bringing back solid proof of The Zone's existence. The first official operation was conducted on May 6th, 2010. 3 ##### were used to transport the troops near the eastern border of The Zone. After three weeks of studies and heavy casualties, the troops called in an evacuation, forcing the Russian government to halt any further expeditions. Soon after, in November of 2010, the task force was repurposed to a PMC with all members operating in The Zone, calling themselves the "Phantom Collective", partially supplied by the Russian government in exchange for occasional batches of information and scientific data being sent to the government.
