The Crimson Empire is a continuation of Galactic Empire established by Palpatine, as opposed to the Imperial warlords in the Deep Core. Its name is derived from the color of the Emperor's Royal Guard uniform worn by its founder, Imperial Sovereign Protector and aspiring Dark Lord of the Sith, Carnor Jax.
