Austrians, Italians, French, Ottomans, All were once the occupiers of Slovenia. After the collapse of Yugoslavia in WW2, And the struggle for the liberation by both Partisans and Chetniks, Slovenia chose neither but instead an independent and self determined Kingdom that now finds itself again the buffer state of empires, and an increased tension since the Independence. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Kingdom of Slovenia is an alternate history state, set in the 1950s as a developing Absolute monarchy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
