___________________________⋙History⋘_____________________ Isengard also known as Angrenost in Sindarin was one of the most important fortress of Gondor and held a Palantir. After the recapture of Isengard which was previously owned by the Dunlendings, in the year 2759 of the TA Saruman was given the keys to Orthanc as well as the command of Isengard. Whereas King Fréaláf of Rohan and Beren of Gondor thought this would help them against eventual attacks from the Dunlendings, Saruman used the tower and its great secrets to look out for the one ring with the desire to claim it for himself. After slowly betraying the White Council, Saruman looked into the Palantir. It was at that moment that Sauron corrupted Saruman's mind and bent it to his will. _________________________⋙Informations⋘___________________ Isengard lies on the doorstep of Rohan and has a direct connection to the Forest of Fangorn and the Dunlendings giving them access to a powerful ally and a large amount of wood.
