``` Crenshaw Mafia Gang [CMG, CMGB, CMG 104th Street] are a predominately African-American street gang located in the City of Inglewood in Los Angeles County. The original founders started this gang as a spin-off of the Inglewood Family Gang in 1981. Their turf is located on the westside of Crenshaw Blvd off Century in a neighborhood called “The Bottoms,” and 104th Street is their core location. In 1997 the City of Inglewood served the CMG with a gang injunction in an effort to displace the gang as developers rebuilt the Century corridor with a new Costco, Red Lobster, Office Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond and over dozen banks, restaurants and retail stores.
