The United States Air Force, founded on May 19th, 2024 The United States Air Force (USAF) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for aerial and space warfare, defense, and operations. It is one of the eight uniformed services of the United States and is tasked with the primary mission of defending the nation through control and exploitation of air and space. Air Superiority, Global Strike, Rapid Global Mobility, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), and Space Operations are just a few things the Air Force controls.
