Description
The Special Task Force (STF), part of the Myanmar Police Force (MPF), is responsible for handling high-risk and specialized police operations that go beyond routine policing. The STF is deployed for armed raids, counter-crime operations, high-threat arrests, and security duties requiring enhanced training and equipment. Working in coordination with regular police units, investigative departments, and other security bodies, the STF focuses on rapid response, tactical containment, and restoring public order in critical situations. Its role is to support law enforcement effectiveness while maintaining control in complex and dangerous operations.
