KINGDOM OF ENGLAND - 1348-1360 The Kingdom of England (Anglo-Norman and French: Royaume d'Angleterre) was a sovereign state on the island of Great Britain from 927, when it emerged from various Germanic kingdoms, under the Reign of Edward the III England became one of the most formidable military powers in Eruope, Fighting the french and wining decisive victorys at Crecy and a number of other battles, military genius and aggression gave a huge amount of land to England. The Kingdom is ruled by King Edward III of Windsor, third of his name. The Kingdom is currently engaged in the Hundred Years’ War. May God save Edward III
