Description

The General Service and Training Corps is the Commonwealth Expeditionary Force Official Recruitment Unit. The GST Corps has two primary functions: To train recruits, NCOs and Officers in how to perform their duty to the best of their ability. To act as a holder for soldiers who have been dismissed or have not yet joined an Official Battle Unit, for example the 7th Armoured. Soldiers in the GST Corps must pass a basic training scheme carried out by authorised personnel, once the said scheme is complete, there will be a Passing Out Ceremony, where the recruits will join their chosen unit, be it Infantry, Armoured etc. The GST Corps will also serve to train Lance Corporals and Officer Cadets on how to perform their duties as NCOs and Officers respectively.
