Description
This takes place in mid 1940, the germans have breached through the benelux but have been stuck at the border of France because of the Maginot line. After a successful socialist coup in 1920, caused by a general strike, leaders in France agreed to extend the Maginot line ignoring the fact it would anger the belgians and continued a policy of "socialism in one country". They also funded a socialist uprising in the already unstable Province of Québec, in Canada which was successful. The Socialist Republic of France greatly helped the Spanish government during the spanish civil war. After 1937, the Spanish Commune was founded, leaders are a coalition of socialists, communists, syndicalists and anarchists. The three nations all had good diplomatic relations and founded a triple alliance, the Alliance Française.
