Quickly, it began firing large missile batteries at the oncoming wave of ICBMs and other nuclear armaments. As nuclear annihilation spread around the globe, the State of Israel was one of few places on Earth where civilization was untouched by the devastation. The remnants of the Israeli Defense Force quickly began providing public support as the government tried to stay in one piece, when the ashes fell, Israel was left on its own in the Middle East and began rebuilding.
