*Delilah, sighs looking at paint splatter night sky. She so sick of this orphanage. She tilts her beautiful hair to look at her personal care taker, her lips utter the words:* Why did my mother leave me here? It’s so cruel. *Delilahs new friend Johnny says:* She mearly couldn’t handle the presence of a child, she’s struggling because of the war. She had to catch a train to the beautiful Scotland to escape. *Delilah looks down, shivering from the cold temperature.* CHAPTER 2 *Delilah’s mother sits on the train, heart aching as she imagines her child alone in a scary orphanage. She looks out the window, praying. “May my child have rizz” She prays to herself. This Scottish and Australian land battle was scary… she hopes the Scottish don’t discover her sneaking into their country.* AHHHHH!… *Delilahs mother, Julie, lets out a loud scream after what she saw on that day in 1956* CHAPTER 3 *Jemimah sits in the filthy corner of the orphanage bedroom, staring at Delilah sleep.*
