İzmir İl Emniyet Genel Müdürlüğü | İstihbarat Görevleri: Suç örgütleri hakkında bilgi toplar, değerlendirir, analizler sonucunda istihbari içerikte operasyon planları hazırlar ve bu süreçlere ilişkin sonuçları ilgili birim ve mercilere sunar. Yürütülen çalışmalar, önleyici istihbarat ile sınırlı olduğundan, adli bir nitelik taşımamaktadır. Görev yürütme şekilleri ve Koordinasyonlarımız: Mevcut yasayla Teşkilâtımıza tevdi edilen görev kapsamında, bakanlıklar ile diğer kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarının görevlerinin gerektirdiği istihbaratı oluşturmasını, istenen haber ve istihbaratı elde etmesini, istihbarata karşı koymasını, elde edilen millî güvenliğe ilişkin haber ve istihbaratı MİT’e ulaştırmasını sağlayan bir istihbarat koordinasyonu yürütmekteyiz. Ayrıca bakanlıklar, her tür kurum, kuruluş, yabancı istihbarat servisi ve kişi ile kendi görev ve etkinliğimize katkı sunabilecek nitelikte bilgi alışverişinde bulunmakta, iş birliği yapmaktayız.
